The Town of Gibbons is a friendly, safe town you should be considering as your future home. The Town offers a variety of amenities for small town living, as well as access to all the facilities of a large city, within an easy, pleasurable commuting distance.

The Town of Gibbons is located 10 kilometers northeast of the corporate limits of the City of Edmonton, which in reality places us approximately 40 kilometers from downtown Edmonton. Our community is very family oriented with the majority of our population in the 25 to 40 age group.
    
There are two schools in town, each covering kindergarten to grade nine. High school education is provided at Sturgeon Composite High. Advanced education such as University, Technical schools and Colleges are available in Edmonton.

Situated along the Sturgeon River, the Town boasts a fully developed River Valley complete with structured pathways, benches, picnic area, viewing points and an adventure playground. We also have seven parks and a new Lions Family Campground.
